Rogerio Lima, well known as Rog (rauj), is originally from Belo Horizonte, Brazil. Rog is a unique and respected coach and player.

As a player, he achieved many honors playing collegiate soccer at Centenary College of Louisiana, and The University of Memphis. As a professional, he played for Clube Atletico Mineiro and Ipiranga Futebol Clube (Brazilian Div-I), Long Island Rough Riders, Hershey Wildcats, Hampton Roads Mariners (A-League) and the Memphis Express (PDL).

Rog was a very talented player with unbelievable dribbling & ball skills (including free kicks). He was a typical South American player who brought diversity and fun to the game.

Rog has also been a Health & Wellness Teacher/Head Soccer Coach at Christian Brothers High School, where he is determined to maintain the distinguished winning tradition achieved throughout many years resulting in 2002, 2003, 2009 and 2010 state championships and 2005, 06, 07 and 08 runner ups. His coaching emphasizes soccer tactics and techniques based on ball handling and possession.

Rog’s soccer teaching philosophy also focuses on developing natural physical ability by promoting a safe and enjoyable environment for the game of soccer or “futebol."

· American College of Sports Medicine/Exercise Specialist Certified since 2001

· Most Valuable Player National Tournament U23 2000
· Commercial Appeal High School Best of the Preps Coach of the Year 2003, 2005 and 2009
