Latest news for REC, TOPSoccer, LOBOS RUSH & the WPSL Memphis LOBOS  
Thirty LOBOS RUSH players from eleven high schools were named to the Commercial Appeal's  2014 Fall Girl's Pepsi "Best of Preps". The "Top Five" Finalists - Paola Ellis, Megan Henry, Gabby Little, Alyssa Neuberger & Robyn Pennella - are LOBOS RUSH players. The group consists of: Div. 1 - Arlington: Katelyn Colvin (senior), Kylie Huey (senior) & Erin Yonak (sophomore); Bartlett: Grace White (junior); Bolton: Rachel Harbin (senior) & Rebecca Starnes (senior) ; Collierville: Hannah Hilburn (senior), Karsyn Sewell (senior), Missy Tammi (senior) & Emily Woods (junior); Houston: Paola Ellis (sophomore), Caroline Heavey (senior), Gabby Little (junior), Robyn Pennella (senior), Connie Strini (senior), Madison Studstill (senior) & Taylor White (junior). The players are: Div. 1 AAA - Collierville: Hannah Hilburn (Senior) & Emily Woods (Junior); Houston : Paola Ellis (Sophomore), Caroline Heavey (Senior), Gabby Little (Junior), Robyn Pennella (Senior) & Connie Strini (Senior). Robyn Pennella (Houston High) of the 97 Lady LOBOS RUSH Premier was named as an NSCAA 2014 Fall Girls High School All-American. Pennella and four other Lady LOBOS RUSH players were named to the NSCAA 2014 Fall Girls High School All-South Region team. Three LOBOS RUSH teams won the 2014 TN State Championship and a fourth team took third place at the USYS 2014 TN Fall D1 & D2 State Championships on Nov. 7-9th at Richard Siegel Park in Murfreesboro, TN. No other TN club garnered more than one champion. LOBOS RUSH also led the state, qualifying eight teams for the event. The 01 Lobos Rush Premier (U14B) and 00 Lobos Rush Premier (U15B) won the D1 State title while the 98 Lobos Rush Elite are the D2 Champions. The 99 Lobos Rush Premier (U16B) took 3rd place in their D1 playoff game. The 00 Lobos Rush Elite (U15B), 98 Lobos Rush Premier (U17B) & the 97 Lobos Rush Premier (U18B) also played well at the D1 event but failed to make the playoffs. Five area high schools advanced to TSSAA Girls High School State Championships at the Richard Siegel Soccer Complex in Murfreesboro, TN from Oct. 29 - Nov. 1st. Houston (D1-AAA) and Briarcrest (D2-AA) both ended as State Finalists while Collierville (D1-AAA), St George's & USJ (D2-A) finished the tournament as semifinalists. These five schools have seventy one LOBOS RUSH players competing on their squads.
