     Alexis Boyd

A native of Memphis, Boyd played club soccer for MFC and attended ECS High School where she starred for the Eagles. Boyd played midfield for Tennessee Tech and was selected as an All Ohio Valley Conference player and earned ESPN Academic All-American in 2002 & 2003. Boyd was a four-year letter-winner and two-time captain for Tennessee Tech from 2000-2004.  She set the school record for the most games started and played and earned TTU NCAA Woman of the Year in 2004. She received her bachelor’s of science in History from Tennessee Tech in 2004 and her master’s degree in Teaching from the University of Memphis in 2007.

Coach Boyd previously served as the Head Coach for Evangelical Christian School Varsity team from 2006-2009.  At ECS, Boyd coached teams that made it to the State Tournament all four years. She earned Regional “Coach of the Year” for 2007, 2008 and 2009. Alexis currently teaches high school history at Arlington High and is the Assistant Coach for the Arlington High School Lady Tigers soccer team.
